So as anyone who has worked with me will know, I love big data. I love seeing how data provides insights and analysis if you’re willing to spend the time to look. So on a recommendation I’ve been working on Tableau and just love the way this software responds. Compared to Excel, it’s like driving a luxury car. I love the ease by which data and tables are manipulated. Another function is the ability to look at clusters of data geographically. Unfortunately WordPress doesn’t have a Tableau widget just yet so I’m going to use the screen shot below for now. I took the attendee list for the HCI (Human Capital Institute) and broke down the profiles of who attended. Very interesting to see the states that have the strongest representation and the industries.
