SEO and Recruiting – Late to the game…

So, like a tailgater who waited too long to get through the gates, I realize I’m a little late to the game here.
However, I’ve been giving this some thought and there’s a couple of angles I’d really like to put out there and explore. SEO has been around for a while now. I’ve been reading up on a number of articles on SEO but the main focus is how to generate traffic to a business.

In my line of work, clients are always asking how they can find the right candidate for the right job. Or to put it another way, how they can drive not just any traffic, but the right kind of traffic to their websites. However what if we flip this around? What can candidates do to drive the multitude of recruiters, headhunters, executive search consultants to them? It’s much better for eventual employment prospects if potential job seekers are being courted by the various recruiters out there. Something to think about.
